Many young people don't realize that marriage is really an option in a crisis pregnancy. Couples that marry in their teen years because of a unplanned pregnancy often enjoy a great deal of happiness. Don't rule out the possibility of marriage just because you're young, even if everyone else seems to think it's not a good idea.  We will help you both understand what is happening to your body during pregnancy and what you can expect in the delivery room. We can also teach you how to take care of your baby and help with the supplies you need for him or her. By attending these classes you earn points which you can use to purchase items for the baby. We can help you and your baby's father understand this commitment to each other and your child. Getting married means that your baby has the benefit of their father's name and income. In cases of separation, mothers who were married often are more successful in establishing child support and paternal grandparent involvement than the non-married. Of course marriage requires that both individuals want to be joined in this union. At our center we can help both you and the father of your baby understand this option and the benefits it can bring to both your lives.

Single Parenting

Does single parenting sound like it would just be too overwhelming? It can be done with the right support system. At our center you will meet with the same lady every week, who will be there for you to have an open ear or a shoulder to cry on, and of course to share the good times too. We have classes available for you to teach you how pregnancy changes your body, what to expect during childbirth and how to take care of your newborn baby as it grows. You earn points by taking these classes which you can use to buy things for your baby in our store and through our blessing closet. Always remember we are just a phone call away, you are not by yourself.
